Mushtaq is one of UK's most coveted names in music production and song writing. 

Beginning his career aGED just 15, Mushtaq BUILT his reputation in music from a string of apprenticeships under some the finest producers in the world, including the legendary Rick Rubin, the characters AND MIKE EVANS (TIMBERLAND PRODUCTIONS). RELOCATING TO New York IN HIS EARLY TEENS, Mushtaq CUT his teeth working on records for HIP HOP ROYALTY SUCH AS the Beastie Boys, Cypress Hill & House of Pain.

RETURNING to the UK, MUSHTAQ WAS signed to Mercury Records as an artist where he wrote and produced his debut record. Despite making an impact as an artist, it was in production where his fundamental ambition and desire laY. throughout his time signed to Mercury, he continued to write and produce with a host of upcoming acts, such as  Amy Winehouse, Gorillaz, Damage, Mis-teeq, Stereo MCs, Guillemots and Tyler James among others, even putting an album out with Terry Hall of The Specials.

 

Working amongst such diverse artists propelled Mushtaq and fuelled his desire to travel the world, learning and absorbing the music of a huge array of countries, communities and cultures. His musical voyage took him throughout the Far East and Asia, creating music deeply immersed in diversity and thriving off the same thirst to learn new techniques and skills that excited him in his teenage years.

with a refreshed sense of musicality, Mushtaq once again returned to the UK and proceeded to have Top 10 hits with SKEPTA 'HOLD ON', YUNGEN 'DEPENDENCY', Charlie Brown ‘On My Way’, Tich ‘Dumb’ SYNc credits include MLB (Major LEAGUE BASEBALL), COCA COLA, LUC BESSON AMONGST OTHERS.
